Eight years ago, Norrenberger began with a clear ambition to build a financial services institution that makes wealth creation simpler, more accessible and more meaningful.

As we mark our eighth anniversary, we are celebrating more than the passage of time. We are celebrating eight years of growth, partnerships, bold decisions and the trust of the people who have chosen to build with us.
From One Ambition to an Integrated Financial Group
Norrenberger was incorporated in 2017 and commenced operations in 2018 as a capital market institution with an ambition much bigger than its starting point.
Over the years, we have deliberately expanded our capabilities to respond to the evolving financial needs of our clients and the opportunities within Nigeria’s economy.
That journey has included the acquisitions that became Norrenberger Pensions and International Energy Insurance the expansion of our securities and lending businesses, the growth of our digital banking capabilities and, most recently, the opening of our Lagos office in February 2026, strengthening our presence at the heart of Nigeria’s financial markets.
Each step has brought us closer to building the kind of financial group we envisioned from the beginning: one capable of connecting people, capital and opportunities across different stages of the wealth journey.
Speaking on the milestone, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Tony Edeh said:

We started as a modest capital market institution with a big vision, and we have built a Group that serves Nigerians across investments, insurance, pensions, lending and digital banking. As Tony Edeh puts it:
