The nef Symposium Announcement
As part of our initiatives in commemoration of our 5th year anniversary, we launched the norrenberger entrepreneurship fund (nef) on Thursday 12th October 2023 at the prestigious Johnwood by Bolton Hotel in Abuja
The norrenberger entrepreneurship fund (nef) is an initiative of Norrenberger that is aimed at empowering young aspiring entrepreneurs to bring their innovative ideas to fruition in their startups or business journeys.
The launch symposium themed: ’’ Investing in Nigerian Youth to Drive Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Challenges”, featured a fireside chat where Industry leaders and entrepreneurship experts , Ms. Chioma Ome Country Director, Solar Sister; Dr. Olawale Anifowose. Director of Programs, Enterprise Development Centre ; Dr Vanessa Phala. Director International Labour Organisation (ILO); Mr. Tony Edeh. GMD/CEO, Norrenberger; Mr. Alu Oryiman Principal Enterprise Officer, SMEDAN and Dr Tijani Oladipupo Head, Business Advisory, Norrenberger as moderator, shed light on the issue at hand, proffered solutions to the challenges faced and reiterated the need for public private partnerships to commit to ensuring Nigerian Youths were given capital, mentoring and business knowledge to succeed as entrepreneurs.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 1 – No Poverty and 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth. The nef represents a significant milestone for us as we strive to contribute to the growth of the economy and job creation by supporting budding entrepreneurs in various sectors.

The nef grants to be made available to National Youth Service Corps members who participate and come tops in a business idea pitching competition will spur entrepreneurship spirit and drive.
