A total of sixty million Naira (N60m) has been earmarked as total prize money for the ‘Norrenberger Abuja Fitlife 2022’ sporting event.
This year’s edition of the annual fitness event that has attracted over 9000 participants in total is being powered by Norrenberger and Bodyline in collaboration with Norrenberger, a financial services group that provides individuals and institutions with a comprehensive range of financial solutions.
Unveiling the Abuja Half Marathon logo yesterday, the CEO and managing director of Norrenberger, Mr Tony Edeh, said that Norrenberger is partnering Bodyline for the Fitlife event to encourage wealth creation, stating that the event was part of the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aimed at passing an important message that “Health is Wealth”
“Norrenberger is a leader in wealth creation and the democratization of investing knowledge in Nigeria. As part of our social and community initiatives program, we pursued a partnership that sends a clear message to our team, our customers, and the community at large. The message is that health is wealth.
“We want to reach more people with this message, and encourage participation in health and fitness-related activities as we continue our mission to help them to create wealth,” he said.
He said the event is aimed at bringing families and friends together for fitness exercise, healthy living and wealth creation.
“Bodyline, a leading fitness brand in Abuja is for social impact and to help people find a bespoke path to good health. Our collaboration with Norrenberger to host Abuja FitLife helps us do exactly that, and we’re more than excited to get on the road with this event.
“The FitLife annual event and nonprofit charity walk where we donate proceeds to credible charity organizations in Abuja and Nigeria at large, sensitizing the people that health is wealth is back and better,” he said.
The Managing Director of Bodyline, Mr Bankole Opashi said the event in partnership with Norrenberger was tagged triple ‘F’ – Fitness, Fun and Family.
