Solabomi Odubiyi

Solabomi holds B.Sc Hons degree in Political Science in 1994 from Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye,

 and Masters of Science in Marketing in 2009 from the prestigious University of Lagos.She is also an Associate member of the Chartered insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN).She started her career at Windsbrow Insurance Brokers unlimited as a Marketing Executive in 1995 before moving to Global Environmental Technology Limited in October 1999 as Customer Services Representative.

In November 2000, she moved to Unitrust Insurance Company Limited as a Senior Superintendent, and worked at various times in Underwriting (Motor, Fire, and Property & Pecuniary Risks) from where she joined International Energy Insurance Plc as a Senior Associate, Underwriting in November 2006.

She is a member of the Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA) where she was appointed to serve as the Secretary of the PILA constitution Review Committee that reviewed and delivered the Constitution binding on the Ladies Professional body.

She has attended several courses, seminars and workshop and has earned several promotions over the years to become the Head of Underwriting whose job function is to oversee the standardization of underwriting activities across the company.
